About us

PRAVEEN COLLEGE OF EDUCATION for Coeducation was established the mission of prodding quality education to trainee teachers through the B.Ed. Courses. Along with a sound theoretical base, the students are given a wide exposure to practical work. The B.Ed. students are sent to various schools of the city for their teaching practice.

PRAVEEN COLLEGE OF EDUCATION Affiliated to Andhra Kesari University, Ongole, and approved by NCTE and recognized by the Gov. of Andhra Pradesh. The college has facilities like canteen, transportation and modern Ladies Hostel, Indoor and outdoor games are the special attraction of the college. B.Ed two years programme of study spread over four semesters with four term end examinations, the successful completion of which would lead to the award of a bachelor’s degree in education.

ADMISSION

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

  • A citizen of India who has passed any Bachelor degree examination with two school subject of any University in India or abroad  equivalent to 10+2+3  pattern of education who has obtained 50% of marks in aggregate  is eligible for admission into B.Ed. programme.
  • The candidate with less than 50% aggregate in the degree, but a Master    Degree with 50% is also eligible for B.Ed. programme.
  • In the case of SC/ST, BC and PH student 45% marks in aggregate in degree course or 45% in post graduation.
  • A candidate for the admission to degree of education B.Ed. must fulfill the eligibility criteria as per the directives of Govt. of A.P from time to time.

Principal's Message

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to Raviteja College of Education , The college was established in the year of 2004 under Raviteja educational society .. The college has completed more than 16 years. The prospective teachers who have passed out of the college are rendering admirable services not only in the educational sector of the state but also at the National Level. I am fully optimist that the present and future teacher trainees will keep this torch of excellence burning bright till time immemorial in the spheres of life where ever they serve. Our Academic Record has been outstanding since the inception of the Institution. Moreover the college has a commendable record of very high pass percentage every year with maximum number of First class and distinctions in both theory as well as practice of teaching in the Annual University Examination Results. I hope that the students of the present batch would also draw inspiration and benefit themselves from the rich educational environment and attain excellence in the area of teacher education, andthus, in turn contribute to the National Development.
